1957 HOLMEGAARD TEAR DROP SHAPE BLUE GLASS ASH TRAY, MINT MID CENTURY MODERN

Description

This Danish hand blown bowl might be overlooked as an ash tray, but it has an indentation on one side acting as a rest for the cigarette or cigar.  It is a beautiful small thing in a light blue lead crystal, measuring about 5 1’2″ L x4 1/2″ W x 4″ H.  The surface is lustrous without any scratches or bruises, a sensual shape and feel.  It is signed in diamond point on the ground foot, Holmegaard, with a date of 1957.
