1988 BMW 6-Series 635csi

Description

1988 BMW 6-Series. No Rust. spent the last 14 plus years in Arizona.  Appears to be all original paint and interior, both in fairly good condition. Starts easy and runs strong and cool. Shifts firmly,  drives straight and brakes well.  Not a show car but overall nice considering the age. A pleasure to drive. Turns some heads and always gets compliments in the parking lot.
The car has been in storage the past 3 years and saw little use in the past 5 years.  However, it was always maintained, started and driven about once a month to keep the tires round and all the seals lubed. Also, the gas was treated “Clear Gas-Ethanol Free” and was replaced regularly. AC blows cool but not cold and needs a recharge.  Diagnostic panel lights “SRS” which I assume means airbag. Check Engine light has recently come on and gone off again intermittently, which I am told is likely caused by leaky gas cap seal or gas vapor recovery leak,  likely not a major problem. Has cruise control but I can’t confirm its functionality. I have not tested every feature of the car,  and  I’m sure it needs some TLC to be returned to its factory new state but if you want to know anything in particular, I am happy to answer any questions as best I can. Of course the car is being ‘sold “as is where is”.
