Some of our products must ship common carrier or freight, due to weight or size. Included in this but not limited to are Heat Pumps, Gas Heaters, Large Filters, Slides, and Diving Boards. Please allow up to 1-2 weeks delivery time on these items. These products are delivered to the front of the driveway, not to the garage or installation site. The trucking company is not responsible to transport your items anywhere other than the front of your driveway.
Additional freight charges may apply in certain rural or special access areas.  In this circumstance, we will call you with the additional charges.
To help make this process as smooth as possible please follow these guidelines:
Sign Bill of Lading (receiving bill). This document says that the order has been received. This all states that the order has arrived in good condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all packages received. This document also states the number of cartons you are receiving, please make sure this number is the same as the actual number of cartons received.
Freight damage. It is your responsibility to make sure your order is in good condition upon receipt. If you find that a product has been damaged, you may refuse shipment. If you refuse shipment, please note the reason on the bill of lading and contact us immediately.
Order Shortage. If the cartons received is less than what is listed on the bill of lading, please notate on the bill of lading and contact us immediately, so that we can trace the missing package and recover it quickly.
Refusal of shipment without proper reasoning, will be processed under our return policy.
Returns
30 Day return policy, subject to 20% restocking fee. Return must be in brand new condition. All warranty issues must be directed towards the manufacturer.
Here at Backyard Pool Superstore, we understand that mistakes can be made. We allow most of our products to be returned within 30 days of purchase. If you have any questions about returns please don’t hesitate to contact us.
All Return Requests must be filed through eBay’s Return System.
Terms & Conditions:
Returns are not accepted 30 days after delivery. If there is a manufacturer’s defect we will do everything in our power to help you out with a warranty issue.
Returns are only accepted on new, unused, uninstalled products that include the original manuals, warranty card(s), and packaging and must only be resealed with clear packing tape.
Once the product has been shipped, buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, this includes to and from shipping and any restocking fees. All warranties are held with the manufacturers of the product.
Backyard Pool Superstore does not warranty any products on this site. We will however direct you to the correct contact person in case a warranty situation does arrive.
If the item is delivered damaged, please email us ASAP. Backyard Pool Superstore will take care of this issue promptly and without any extra charge to you the customer.
Shipping charges: All shipping charges associated with returning a product are the responsibility of the buyer. Products must be returned to the correct location with an approved RGA number. Products shipped to the wrong location will be subject to additional shipping charges.
Restocking fees: All returned products are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned within the 30 days.
Freight Line Products: All damaged products shipped via freight must be refused. If you accept the product off of the truck, you now own the product. Please inspect all packages thoroughly before acceptance.
Warranty issues are handled through the respective manufacturers. We will do all we can to help you with this process, but we do not take returns that are warranty issues.
